BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The problem on this roof was that birds were nesting there under tiles because of cracked and partially fallen off mortar from the roof verge. We needed to do repair the roof and close the gaps in roof verge.  In order to complete this job, we needed to take off the last line of tiles, and remove all old mortar and bird nests. We had to extend some of the battens and put one along the edge. After this, we could put new dry verge caps by fixing them directly to this new batten instead of drilling in a mortar and putting expansion plugs in. Maybe it looks the same but our way will allow it to last much longer than this popular quick fix.
