New Roof - Time Laps 2023

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This client asked us to fix his roof because it was leaking. The main reason for this was the old rotten membrane that in some places just fell apart and gaps in verge joints. There were a few cracked tiles as well. We had to take off all tiles and clean them in order to use them later. Old batons and membranes were taken off as well. In order to improve energy efficiency roof pitch was insulated using 170mm mineral wool. Vapor – the permeable membrane was put on using staples and counter-battens and then a new batten was nailed to them. A vented eaves protector with a comb was installed as well. After putting tiles back and replacing cracked ones we have put ridge ventilation tape under ridge tiles and dry verge end caps. The guttering has not been replaced because it was in very good condition.
