One of our clients had a leak in his garage roof. He wanted us to make it to very high standards and use old tiles to match neighbours garage roof. We have taken out old batens, and membranes and replaced gutters. In order to make the roof stronger, we boarded the whole surface. Felt support was installed to direct any water into the gutter. Instead of membrane self-sealing felt underlay was put on and fixed to boards using counter-battens. New battens and vented eaves protector with a comb was installed to prevent birds from nesting under tiles and improve roof ventilation. After that, we have put back washed old tiles. Ventilation tiles were installed to provide better air circulation inside the garage.
